Moonshine.
Moonshine is a 17 year old Arabian. He is a favorite around the ranch. He can jump and is being trained to do barrels. He can also do dressage. We tried trails with him...just not his thing. There's just to many boogy-men out there for him to handle! But in the arena he's wonderful.
Rosie.
Rosie is a 22 year old rescued Arabian mare. Don't let her old age fool you...she can out run any horse on this ranch. She is a pro at barrel racing. But if you put a little kid on her she'll take care of them. She loves the trail and she can go in a group or by herself. She was in pretty bad shape when we got her but now she's a gorgeous sorrel color and she's put a lot of weight on. She's had cancer in her eye twice so now she has to wear a uv protection mask all the time to prevent it from coming back. She's a very happy, curious, little horse. She has a secret crush on Moonshine, but don't tell anyone. Those two are inseparable.
"Tater Tot" or Thunder.
This is our latest addition to our family. Thunder is a Tennesse Walker and he is 8 years old. Having a gaited horse in the family is a new experience since most of us have never ridden a gaited horse. But its a lot of fun!
Dreama.
Dreama is a palomino Tennessee Walker. She is built like a tank. Her least favorite thing to do is work, but when she wants to be good she can ride like a dream. She's a good trail horse too, she can lead or follow. She was never tought to be a gaited horse and now she is to old. She rides like a western pleasure horse.
Dutch.
Dutch is another one of our rescues. He is a Warmblood/Arabian, and probably part giraffe with the long neck he has. He is 22 years young and didn't know the basics when we brought him home. So we started training from the very beginning. Now he is being used as a lesson horse for 5 and 6 year old kids. He is great with little kids and is a very good listener. He isn't the best trail horse because once he's out of the pasture he's afraid something might get him. In the arena he is great.
Mini Man
Mini is...what's a nice way of saying mean? Well he has his nice moments every now and then. For some odd reason he's a favorite around the ranch. Everyone has their own "Mini" story. He is as big as a mini horse can be. Some of the younger kids ride him and even some of the older kids do too. But you should probably be careful while riding him...he might fall down and give you a nice big mouthful of dirt. Yes, I said fall down. If he's done working and your not done riding, he can fall down and once your off he gets right back up. That little horse is way to smart. Well I suppose this is the part where I'm supposed to say something nice about him. Hmmmm... He can be a really good riding pony and the little kids love walking him around and giving him baths.
Star.
Star is a palomino paint mini. She is 4 years old and is probably the most curious horse on the farm. She's always getting into anything she can. She went to the fair last year and she LOVED the attention and the new environment. But don't let her cute looks fool you, she does have that mini attitude.
Skittles.
Skittles is a sorrel mini. She's Star's mom and she is always right behind her. She is very sweet with all the little kids but cannot be ridden because she has bad legs. She loves to be let out of her pasture and eat grass all day.
Dudley.
Dudley is our newest rescued horse. He's also a mini. He is our first stallion and a learning experience. If he's not around mares he's a great little riding pony for the little kids. He doesn't like standing still and could probably run all day long if he wanted to. He is the proud dad of Storm and Eeyore. (See below)
Great news! Mr. Dudley found an awesome new home with another mini. His only job is to be cute and get spoiled!

Eeyore
Eeyore is the baby of Dudley and Skittles and he was born on January 25th. He is already showing his love for people, with some convincing from his momma. This little guy is so tiny he can walk right under his mom and sister. We can't wait to watch Eeyore grow!
In Loving Memory of Ace.
Don't cry for the horses that life has set free. A million white horses forever to be. Don't cry for the horses now in God's hands. As they dance and they prance in heavenly band. They were ours as a gift, but never to keep. As they close their eyes forever to sleep. Their spirits unbound. On silver wings they fly. A million white horses against the blue sky. Look up into heaven, you'll see them above. The horses we lost, the horses we loved. Manes and tails flowing, they gallop through time. They were never yours, they were never mine. Don't cry for the horses. They'll be back someday. When our time is gone, they will show us the way. Don't cry for the horses. Love the ones that are here.
